> Drive across the Rohtang pass to Jispa, a small village on the banks of Bhaga River (a tributary of Chenab) in Lahaul region.
> This is the best place to acclimatization yourself to high altitude.
> On our way to Jispa, we will be refuelling at Tandi which is the last fuel station before Leh.
> Overnight stay at hotel located on the banks of the Bhaga.

Term & Conditions

  1. You need to have your own vehicle (on your own name)
  2. Valid Driving License
  3. Introducing a Special Sedan Drive in 2017, Go Boundless Invites any vehicle to be a part of “Go Boundless Himalayan Drive”
  4. All vehicles with low ground clearance are advised to install under body protection sheet (Go Boundless team will assist you to source)
  5. All vehicles must be individually licensed / officially permitted for the road and comply with the legal requirements of cars used on public roads in India.
  6. It is compulsory for the vehicle to have a valid comprehensive insurance coverage policy.
  7. Participants may bring their drivers in their vehicles to accompany them on “Go Boundless Himalayan Drive” The charges would be extra.
  8. These charges include accommodation at night halts where drivers accommodation is not provided by the hotels, along with breakfast, packed refreshments and dinner at the specified halts and night halts, inner line permits.
  9. Lunch is subject to the availability Enroute but quick snacks like Maggi, Bread Omelet, Thupka, Noodles and Veg Thali is available at most of the places. Few places like Jispa, Pangong, would serve very basic simple vegetarian food.

The charges for Indian Nationals for participating in “Go Boundless Himalayan Drive” is as follows
> Per person cost - INR 46,000/- 
> Children till 5 years is complementary
> 5-10 years - INR 20,000/-
> 10-14 years - INR 27,000/-
> Above 14 years is treated as adult
> The single room supplement payable in case a participant does not want accommodation on a twin sharing basis will be extra.


DRIVER CHARGES
> Innova Taxi with driver, sharing 4 pax is INR 18,000/- per pax extra.
> Mahindra Bolero Camper with driver, sharing 4 pax is INR 10,000/- per pax extra
> Self drive hired vehicles are not allowed in Ladakh beyond Leh.
> Bookings can be done by depositing INR 10,000/- booking amount!

MEDICAL NOTES
High Altitude affects everyone in different ways and to a different extent. A young 25 year old who does regular exercise may be flat on his back at 16000ft and the man smiling down at him as he regains consciousness may be the fat, balding 45 year old on the seat next to him. When High Altitude Sickness hits you feel a dull headache, nausea, shortness of breath and complete lack of appetite. However there are a few things one can do to avoid, or to at least lessen the effects of High Altitude on your body.

 

CHECK LIST BEFORE SIGNING UP

  1. Consult your Doctor and get your regular check up done
  2. Asthmatic people are advised against coming for the event. However if you are only mildly so, you may consult your doctor.
  3. Kids get acclimatize much faster so don’t worry they are more fitter than you to join for this trip, but kids above 3 years of age is recommended .
  4. All age group people can join- You just need to be physically fit !!
